Project Refurb
OUR LATEST PROJECT
At the end of 2021, we began work on a very large, and very dated terraced property. This house's issues were more than just cosmetic. To say it was opening a can of worms would be a huge understatement!
After tearing down ceilings and digging up floors, we began to wonder if we should just hire a bulldozer and start again.
But we pushed through.....
And we're glad we did, because we ended up with something quite special
Exposed brickwork throughout, for an industrial feel
Why bother putting the ceiling back up?
We ended up with 5 large en-suite rooms, a beautiful rustic kitchen, and warm, cosy communal areas.
We wanted modern and fresh, whilst also maintaining original features and keeping it homely. We did just that, and it turned out better than expected.
PROJECT REFURB
Sunil's first house! He bought this in 1999, and now it's getting a new lease of life!
After gutting the place in January 2020, plans are made for the large kitchen....
Coronavirus has set things back, but things start up again in May! The plasterers have been, and handy man Mak gets his hands on the place!
Dividing walls are put in and floors are levelled
Things also start coming together outside....A Christmas tree planted by a previous tenant has become a 60 foot problem! That garden is now opened up!
The finishing touches....
The finer details bring a new feel to the place
After months of planning, re-planning, and further covid-induced complications, the team have succeeded in bringing the house back to life! We have achieved what we set out to do, and all rooms were snatched up by high-end tenants in a matter of days!
Project AirBnb
PROJECT AIRBNB
Breathing life into an old, neglected flat
The plasterers and kitchen designers were in straight away, and Mak got to work with the rest! Nothing could stop us....except a global pandemic... But it's not long before........
A stylish high-gloss kitchen, a fully tiled and modern bathroom, and two light and spacious bedrooms. With quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout, this is another property to attract high-end tenants. Another success!
Project Dine
PROJECT DINE
We took some sad looking rooms
Re-floored, re-painted, and got rid of all the dated features.....
.....Added some finishing touches....
....And ended up with some stunning communal areas!
The purpose of this project was to improve living quality of tenants. Although this meant having fewer bedrooms in the houses, it really please existing tenants and attracted the right sort of people to take rooms!
PROJECT HALLWAY
Before
After
Transforming a tired looking hallway, stairs and landing in a tenanted property
Andy strips the wood chip wallpaper......
....and begins adding the grey once the walls are skimmed
Eye catching tiles are laid
......as well as our fresh new carpet
The handy man boxes in the fire alarm panel for a more attractive look
The finished result is warmer, fresher and more modern
OTHER PROJECTS...
A tired and uninspiring kitchen was given a full revamp, a tricky project which involved putting it out of use for 2 weeks!
